d.i.y> cucumber and avocado moisturising face mask

Here is a super quick and easy all-natural moisturising face mask you can use 1-3 times a week for softer, more hydrated skin.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped avocado
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons powdered milk
optionally, you can also add a teaspoon of honey for extra moisture or approximately 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice for some spot-fighting zest.

Method:

Simpy put all the ingredients in a blender and blend together until you get a smooth, paste-like consistency. You can either use this straight away or store in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days.

Use:

Massage two tablespoons of the mixture onto your face and neck in small, circular motions. Lay back and relax for half an hour or until the mask is completely dry, then rinse off with warm water. Follow this by splashing cold water on your face to close the pores and continue with your normal skincare routine. For extra freshness (and cliché-ness) pop two cucumber circles on top of your eyes to help with dark circles and bags.

Hope you enjoy this face mask, and let me know if you have any home made skincare solutions

  4. Nice combination of ingredients - milk and avocado are moisturizing and exfoliating at the same time. Great recipe

    1. Using a moisturizing day cream is important to stay your skin vivacious and healthy. while not the correct association throughout the day, you skin will dry up, chap, and be prone to actinic ray radiation and environmental pollutants (or free radicals
